Day 1: Drive from Addis Ababa to Ankober via Debrebirhan; Lunch en route at Debrebirhan. Late afternoon arrives at Ankober and visit the small town of Ankober, there are marvellous views over the escarpment. O/n Palace Lodge.

Day 2: Early in morning head for Bird watching, the Ethiopian endemic birds such as Ankober Serin, Smith's Francolin, Yellow Throated Serin, White billed  Starling, Black-winged Love Bird, Lammergeyer, Mountain Buzzard, Peregrine, Red-breasted Sparrow Hawk,etc. After lunch drive to Bilen Lodge via Melka Gebdu.At Melka Gebdu, you will see many of the common acacia savanna birds of Ethiopia, including Red-bellied Parrot, White-bellied Go-away-bird, Rufous Chatterer, and Rueppell’s Weaver, Jameson’s Firefinch and a beautiful Half-collared Kingfisher; the proceed  to Bilen lodge for dinner and over night.

Day 3: Early in the morning watch the birds around the Bilen Lodge and enjoy the natural hot spring and the Afar nomadic people. Late afternoon after lunch drive to Awash national park. O/N Stay at Awash falls lodge or Camping/Hotel in Awash town.

Day 4 : Early morning after B/F drive around the Park and view birds and Game animals, in Awash National park such as Augur Buzzards, Long- Crested Eagles, Carmine Bee-eaters, Abyssinian and Rufous-crowned Rollers, Ostriches, Buff-crested Grouse, Rosy-patched and other Shrikes. Many species of Hornbills, Wavers, Woodpeckers, Vultures, Doves, Pigeons, Guinea fowl, Glossy starling, Parrots Bee-eaters, Barbets, Mouse birds and Finches and the endemic Yellow throated seed eater are  to name but a few. After lunch drive to Addis Ababa. Dinner and O/N at the reserved Hotel.
